Our Timeline
From then to now
1950
In Aspang, Franz List Sr. founds a joinery with seven employees, laying the foundation for a group that combines craftsmanship and attitude.
1981
Restaurants, shops and private homes expand the portfolio, while the company grows to 30 employees.
1989
To create room for new projects, production moves from Aspang to Olbersdorf.
1992
With the conversion of the Louis C. Jacob Hotel in Hamburg, the company establishes itself in high-end interior outfitting.
1996
The first project at sea: outfitting the cruise ship MS Deutschland marks the company’s entry into maritime interiors.
2000
List General Contractor GmbH is founded and immediately takes on the initial outfitting of the 196-meter-long residential yacht “The World – Residences at Sea.”
2003
The yacht Silver Wave becomes the first complete in-house development in yacht building – a pioneering project.
2003
What began as a small repair job on the SY Sea Cloud I evolves into the first comprehensive refit and modernization project.
2004
With the opening of the Orange Wings Hotel, List GC enters the tourism and leisure sector
2005
In order to handle even more complex projects, List GC expands its site in Bad Erlach. The relocation itself takes place in 2007.
2008
Further major projects in the tourism sector are realized with the Linsberg Asia thermal spa and the AQI Hotel in Schladming-Planai.
2014
The company decides to set up its own furniture production in Bad Erlach. Production has been underway there since early 2017.
2018
Since 2018, the company has been training apprentices. In four apprenticeship professions, young talents learn the exclusive craft from the ground up.
2022
By integrating the long-established Cohrs Werkstätten GmbH into the group, List GC strengthens its presence and manufacturing capabilities in northern Germany.
SINCE 2022
In order to give each company room to develop in a cellular network, the organization of the entire group is constantly being further developed.
2023
With decades of expertise in exclusive interiors, Riederle Werkstätten GmbH now also enriches the List Holding Group.
SINCE 2023
Yuniti Innovations GmbH is founded as an innovation hub for modular spatial solutions focused on the working environments of tomorrow.
JANUARY 2025
By acquiring a stake in Interior PROMAN, List GC expands its service portfolio with outstanding project management expertise in yacht interiors.

The List Holding Group celebrates 75 years – and continues to explore new horizons with broad expertise and a clear strategic vision.
